Be smart! Don’t leave the hospital without surgery discharge papers. They are necessary for your recovery. Have any of my readers left the hospital without them? They can make the difference between life and death. A friend of mine was sent home without the papers and almost ended up back in the ER because she was bleeding profusely every time she urinated. When she called to get a copy of the papers the hospital couldn’t find them. So of course she called her Doctor, and he too didn’t have the instructions because he was on vacation! His two colleagues gave completely different sets of instructions. Talk about confusion!
So be wise and don’t leave the hospital with your discharge papers.
